Juneteenth Celebration at Weisser Park

Fabulous day at the Juneteenth Celebration. We gave out close to 400 books! Stryker from Crazy Pinz even stopped by!

Lunch Patrol was Amazing

What a fabulous afternoon! Community Harvest did an amazing job with their Lunch Patrol event today. We were able to give away almost 200 books. There was free face painting, crafts, a fire truck, volleyball and a police dog. The Dairy Council cow even stopped by to check out our books! 😄

McMillen Park Community Extravaganza

What a fun event! We were able to give away close to 200 books to the families that attended the Extravaganza. We met some pretty amazing kids!

 These girls had me laughing. What a fun group of girls and avid readers. Love that. ❤️ 

 There were so many fun events set up for the kids. Along with the activities below, there was a bounce house, inside playground, and vendors with family related services. My favorite was the sack race that went right by our table. We were entertained all day. 😀

Fort Wayne Housing Authority

The more we get involved in this community, the more I realize how many great programs there are to help kids. The Fort Wayne Housing Authority has a great preschool program with the most amazing teachers. I got to read to these adorable kiddos and then give them a book to take home.

Thankful Thursday

We got to hand out books at the Thankful Thursday Feast with the Fort Wayne Housing Authority last week. Lots of adorable kids came by to get a book. 😀

These girls are AMAZING!

WOW! I really don't know what else to say! These amazing Girl Scouts hosted a book drive at Oak View and collected 5,538 books! THANK YOU Oak View!
