Fort Wayne Housing Authority

The more we get involved in this community, the more I realize how many great programs there are to help kids. The Fort Wayne Housing Authority has a great preschool program with the most amazing teachers. I got to read to these adorable kiddos and then give them a book to take home.

Thankful Thursday

We got to hand out books at the Thankful Thursday Feast with the Fort Wayne Housing Authority last week. Lots of adorable kids came by to get a book. 😀

These girls are AMAZING!

WOW! I really don't know what else to say! These amazing Girl Scouts hosted a book drive at Oak View and collected 5,538 books! THANK YOU Oak View!

We owe another HUGE thank you to Creative Treasures Preschool! We recently brought home another 100 books donated by the amazing families that attend Creative Treasures and Journeys Church. Thank you so very much!

Beautiful morning!

What a beautiful morning it was to hand out books to these little cuties and so many more! The gorgeous weather brought out an abundance of families. We were able to give away 183 books! Thank you to everyone who helps to make this possible!

Never too young to make a difference!

Before Christmas we got the chance to meet with the sweetest girl by the name of Kaylee. A friend of ours told us about her and how she wanted to meet us. This eight year old is such an inspiration! As we sat and told her about the program she started rattling off ideas of what she could do. Since that time Kaylee has been quite busy. She has already collected a ton of books (pictured below) and has set up times to hand books out to needy kids!
